When asked to shoot an album playback with legendary producer Eddie Krammer and hosted by 6 Music’s Shaun Keavney for the new Jimi Hendrix album I jumped at the chance.

Guests were invited to hear 4 tracks from the album of previously unreleased tracks whilst Eddie recounted the moments in the studio.

A great night and a great album.

With Sony Music International being dissolved this was my last International Management Meeting at Little Tape in London.  The heads of Sony Music worldwide were invited to an intimate showcase with new artist Rag n Bone Man performing an acoustic set.  Lovely guy! 01/02/17 Photo by Chris Lopez

I’ve been fortunate to photograph some of the biggest names in the music industry and some days can be quite surreal. Wednesday 17th September was one of those days. I got a call from Sony Music to ask if I could cover the International Directors meeting at the Cafe Royal, London.  The lunch was attended by none other than Leonard Cohen and the special guest at the dinner later in the evening was the legendary guitarist Angus Young from ACDC.

Two incredible artists in one day. I love my job.
